Mission

The Washington Jazz Society's mission is to educate the public about Jazz Music through concerts featuring national and local jazz musicians. The Washington Jazz Society provides scholarships for deserving young musicians, as well as jazz educational and performance experiences for young musicians within our community. The Washington Jazz Society is dedicated to promoting live jazz music from local musicians and preserving jazz as an art.

Programs and Services

  • Washington Jazz Society Sunday Jazz Brunch at the Presidents Pub features some of the best jazz musicians throughout our region.
  • The Washington Jazz Society After-school Music Program (AMP) provides free music lessons and instruments to youth in need.
