Programs and Services
- In November of 2017 a group of dog loving ladies sat a dining room table and started a 5013c dog rescue after realizing there was a desperate need to help save unwanted and abandoned dogs, thus Bridge to Home Animal Rescue was born. The goal was to save 52 dogs a year and place them in loving forever homes. Fast forward to 2022, Bridge to Home Animal Rescue has saved over 2500 dogs.
- These dogs have included tripod dogs like BO who survived being shot, Josie who had a liver shunt who would not have survived without surgery, Pig Pen who was the second dog in the country to have a specialized heart surgery, Kia a puppy with the parvo virus who medical care resulted in thousands of dollars, and many un-socialized puppy mill dogs and dogs whose owners have passed away or no longer can care for them.
- We have no shelter; we are strictly foster volunteer based. Bridge to Home Animal Rescue is dedicated to providing dogs a temporary save haven in loving foster homes until a forever home can be found. The rescue provides needed medical care and makes sure each dog adopted is spayed or neutered. Our veterinarian bills for the year are over $100,000 a year. The rescue solely relies on donations and the fundraisers to pay for this care. Please consider Bridge to Home Animal Rescue as your charity of choice.
- Please note that Bridge to Home Animal Rescue communicates exclusively via email.
